An in depth look at the specific problems of visual artists who try to photograph their own work for reproduction, archive records, or promotions.
Course content will examine:
Colour balance ( colour temperature) and how to produce accurate colour with digital or film files. File Formats ( JPEG, TIF, EPS, PDF)). File Sizes for your printer, for the web.
File manipulation (sharpness, contrast, exposure) in photoshop
Distribution of Files in various formats and sizes
All participants are encouraged to bring cameras, samples, any problems etc.

"Getting Serious with Your Cameras"  
  A weekly classe designed to upgrade the "shooting abilities" of the student. You will learn how to take better picures by understanding more about how the cameras works, and how to make it work for you. Topics will include: composition, lighting, point of view, flash photography, action, portraits, telling a story. The course will explore concepts and theory with hands on practical examples.

2 hours per week for 10 weeks

PHOTOGRAPHY INSTRUCTION
for
Groups or Individuals
Stuart teaches photography to groups or individuals, subjects include: photojournalism, available light, web images, Adobe Photoshop, sports nature and more

Classes will be in the studio with access to Photoshop instruction and where possible a trek into the real world for practical "hands on" demonstrations.
